The Aarna Black Box Set with its basket-weave pattern is made of pieces of wood interspersed with strips of black composite. The contrast of the textural woodgrains and the sleek composite creates such an interesting aspect to this design, as does the angular lines of the overall rectangular shapes that echo the elongated pieces on their surfaces. The interiors of the boxes are covered in white linen.
